Our Story

Tashi Delek!

At One Thangka, our mission goes beyond selling art—we are dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture, supporting artisans, and sharing the spiritual depth of our creations. For over 30 years, we’ve partnered with master artists and local institutes in Nepal and Tibet to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship. As one of our master artists beautifully expresses, “I have painted Thangkas for people all over the world. Whether they practice Buddhism or not, my prayers remain the same: for peace, health, and the release from suffering.”

Every Thangka, mala, and Gawu pendant we offer is made with traditional techniques, using natural mineral pigments and sacred rituals. We take great pride in supporting the local community, offering fair wages, and improving the lives of the artisans and their families. This commitment not only sustains the rich heritage of Tibetan art but also ensures that every piece is imbued with spiritual and cultural significance. By choosing us, you are contributing to this sacred tradition, helping to keep it alive for generations to come.

We welcome you to explore our collection and be part of this meaningful journey with us. Thank you for supporting the artisans and the timeless beauty of Thangka art.
